Well, hi there!

It’s Allie here to share some fun colour inspiration with you! I don’t know about you, but being cooped up has me craving some sunshine more than usual. This week, I decided to bring a little sunshine into my space by painting a sweet little bench with “Sunflowers” from the Van Gogh Fossil Paint line. And boy - did it make a difference!

I thought I would share some of our favourite yellows from our three awesome paint lines to get you inspired to bring a little cheer into your own space!

First up is “Sunflowers” from the Van Gogh Fossil Paint line.

This vibrant, show stopping yellow is a great way to add a bold pop of colour to your space and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

If adding this vibrant colour to your space makes you a little nervous, try using it on a smaller accent piece to start!

Next is “Prairie Sunset” from the Fusion Mineral Paint line.

This retro inspired yellow has been a crowd-pleaser at the studio since day one and you can see why!

“Prairie Sunset” is perfect for incorporating a soft, nostalgic yellow tone into your home.

Expert Furniture Reclaiming Tip:

Try pairing this colour with a soft grey like “Pebble” or a rich blue like “Homestead Blue” for a gorgeous contrast!

Last but not least is “Mustard Seed Yellow” from the Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint line.

This warm, rustic yellow is another fan favourite at the Studio and is a great way to add a true antique tone into your space.

Applying antiquing wax over “Mustard Seed Yellow” accentuates the warm undertones and gives an authentic aged look.
