Hi there!
How's your week going so far?!? Can you believe it's November already?!?
The holidays will be here before we know it and we're getting into the spirit of things with our upcoming holiday workshops! Including our Holiday Makers Day on November 18th where we will be creating 4 beautiful festive decor items in one super fun day! Check out our workshop schedule by clicking here!
But enough about us! Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?!?
First up this week is a beautiful desk restyled by Carrie using our van Gogh Fossil paint. 'Mascara' is the perfect slate grey - I really love this colour on honestly just about everything! I LOVE the gold hardware on this little desk and the styling here is just perfect for the coming holidays! Great job Carrie!
Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Here is a look at Carrie's desk 'before':
Kathie reclaimed a desk recently too! Instead of painting this little cutie she decided to use our stain and finishing oil overall to give it new life, and it looks great!
I love how the oil brings out the grain of the wood - and the best part is that with a finishing oil built right in this can be done in one step! (no top coat required)
Here is a look at Kathie's much darker and quite worn looking desk 'before':
Great job on this Kathie - thank you for sharing with us!
Last up this week (but certainly not least) is another beautiful desk restyled by Heather. Heather used van Gogh Fossil paint in 'Zeppelin' grey for the base of this desk and spent some extra care on the top by applying our stain and finishing oil in 'Ebony' for a super classy look! I love how this turned out - beautiful as always Heather!
Thank you so much for sharing with us!
To see just how much work Heather put into this, let's take a look at this desk 'before':
Amazing! Thank you again to everyone for sharing their projects us!
And don't forget - if you are featured on our Wednesday blog you we will have a 10% discount waiting for you at the studio (valid for 30 days)! We don't always get to share pictures in the week that they are sent in, but we do hang on to them and try to share as many as we can because we love seeing your projects! It's so easy! All you have to do is e-mail your before and after pictures (or even just after pictures if that's all you have, lol) to: [email protected]
Can't wait to see what your working on for next week! Happy painting!
Oh! And don't forget to join us for an upcoming workshop for lots of fun and inspiration!
