Home, Garden & Decor Show a success!

Hello and happy Tuesday!

The weekend went by in a fury of activity for The Inspiration Nest and myself. On Thursday we built and painted walls, packed up the studio and moved to Deer Creek. Friday morning we pulled our space together and by 3pm we were all set and ready to greet! We met so many wonderful people over the weekend and are completely humbled and thankful to everyone for all of the lovely comments on our created space!

Incase you missed it here are a few images of the space we pulled together. All of the reclaimed furniture was restyled by Mango Reclaimed, the overall space and vision (including all the beautiful flower arrangements) were pulled together by The Inspiration Nest . . .and we are very gracious to Urban Barn in Whitby and Osso Lighting in Oshawa for letting us borrow some beautiful decor items to really make our space feel like home.

We divided the space into two distinct areas (please disregard the busy carpet pattern which we were unable to completely cover, lol). The first space was a formal dining room complete with restyled buffet, mirror, chairs and dining table:

We also pulled together an inviting living room space complete with couch, restyled storage cabinet, coffee table, club chairs, end table and sideboard:

Leslie (The Inspiration Nest) and I also did presentations on the main stage on Sunday afternoon which went over great. Thank you to everyone who came out to hear our talks! Watch my blog for the completed restyled dresser that I started on stage. A gorgeous 4 drawer dresser van Gogh painted in 'calm seas' and 'morning mist' creating an ombre effect up the drawers.

We are so very thankful to our amazing support network of family, friends and contractors that helped us pull everything together (and on Sunday pull everything back apart) - thank you!!

I hope you enjoyed all of our hard work - special thanks to all the wonderful people we met over the weekend - because of you it is all worth it!

Many of the restyled items showcased this weekend are now available for purchase at Mango Reclaimed, so please contact us if you're interested.
