Good morning!
I've said it before and I'll say it again . . . you don't always have to paint ALL of the wood!
Take a look at this gorgeous restyled mid century dresser:
Wouldn't it be a shame to cover up the beautiful wood grain on those drawers??
I seriously love this piece - yah, I know I say that a lot, lol! What can I say, I get attached to pieces - especially after we've spent so much time together, haha!
For the framework of this piece we scuffed it up and freshened up the look by painting it out using van Gogh fossil paint in 'Morning Mist', which is a nice soft white. 'Table Top Finish' was applied to seal and protect all of the painted area.
The drawer fronts were lightly sanded to remove the previous finish while leaving the stain in tact - then a liberal application of hemp oil was applied - this is when the drawers really came to life!
Hemp oil really works wonders to revive and protect natural or milk painted wood!
Here's a look at look at the dresser 'before' and 'after'. . . admittedly a couple drawers were in the wrong spots for the 'before' pictured, lol! Anywho, notice how painting out the framework and reviving the grain of the drawer fronts really transforms this piece from dark and dated to a slick modern piece?!

Let's take another quick look at the finished project, shall we?
Beautiful!
Now, before you ask (cause I know you will lol), this piece was purchased from our online inventory and custom restyled by us for a customer - so sadly it is not available for sale . . .
However these dressers are available - they just need some vision and TLC! - (click here!)
Happy day my friends!
