Well for starters let me just say - I love this paint!

It's so creamy and rich and easy to apply. It requires very little prep work so I can get right to the fun part of actually painting. It is water-based, eco friendly, very low VOC and it's Canadian made!

The left side of these boards have been clear waxed, the centre line is strictly paint and the right side has had dark wax applied.

Yes, this paint actually contains chalk as an ingredient. The chalk is what makes this paint look velvety, matte and smooth. A truly beautiful finish that is hard to duplicate any other way.

When used on furniture (which is of course what I love to do), it gives a beautiful soft matte finish that feels as good as it looks. Oh - and did I mention how wonderfully it distresses? You can achieve so many great looks with layering colours and then wet or dry distressing.
