A hutch, a rocking chair and a shelf . . .

Hi there! I hope you're enjoying your week.  I have had a great time working at the studio pulling things together, working on some custom orders, and also working on some pieces for the Mango Reclaimed showroom.

I wanted to share with you a few recently completed pieces that will be available for purchase once we open.  Yes I realize this is a random selection of furniture but aren't we all a little bit random sometimes?

This hutch was chalk painted using van Gogh paint in the colours 'chivalry' and 'chalk'. It was lightly distressed and then sealed with van Gogh 'french caffeine' beeswax. I love how it turned out!  (Soon to be available for sale from Mango Reclaimed, $575)

Please disregard the background - this hutch would look much better in a dining room, kitchen or hallway / foyer!

And finally a great shallow shelf chalk painted in 'patina' and 'muse'. This piece was distressed and then sealed using Miss Mustard Seed's hemp oil. A shelf great for knick knacks, small toys . . . (Soon to be available for sale from Mango Reclaimed, $55)

Inspired by the beauty of a grassy field and a blue sky - this shelf would look great in any home.
