Some of the most frequent pieces we restyle here at the studio are dining sets. You know the ones….the one you got as a wedding gift 40 years ago or the one that was handed down to you when you moved into your first home.

Guess what? They freshen up BEAUTIFULLY!

We were over the moon when the talented Leslie from The Inspiration Nest asked us to collaborate on a kitchen renovation she was working on for a client.

Her client had a solid golden oak table and chairs that was still super functional for their space…but the golden colour did not go with the vision they had for their kitchen makeover.

We painted the table skirt & base along with the chairs in Valerie from the Mango Paint line to compliment the bright and airy vibe of the new kitchen.

And for the table top, we created a custom stain using Charlie from the Mango Paint line to accentuate the beautiful original wood grain!

We were thrilled that Leslie’s client chose to re-love their solidly made dining set rather than buying new…and we were so excited to have been able to give it a gorgeous transformation!
