Hi Reclaimers!

It’s not often that we get two identical pieces to restyle at the same time…so we were beyond excited for this project—we’ve lovingly nicknamed it “The Sisters Project”.

Our sweet customer, Lisa, came to us with a set of dressers for her two daughters that were ready to be freshened up as a part of their bedroom makeovers.

The sisters both have very different styles and different inspirations for their bedrooms and we were thrilled to bring their individual visions to life!

Get ready to witness the power of paint…

One daughter’s vision was to give her bedroom a warm & bohemian feel. Yvonne from the Mango Paint line was the perfect choice to paint her dresser!

Yvonne is a gorgeous neutral beige that pairs beautifully with earthy greens and tans (which happened to be the other colours featured in her bedroom)

The other daughter’s vision was to give her bedroom a more airy & whimsical feel—and Evelyn from the Mango Paint line checks all those boxes!

Evelyn, a fresh blue/green was the perfect accent colour to incorporate into her bedroom which she was pairing with soft yellows and a crisp white.

“The Sisters Project” is a great example of how painting or changing the colour of your piece can change the whole feel of the piece itself and even the space it’s going in!

…And I don’t know about you, but after seeing them both side by side, I don’t think I can pick a favourite sister!
