Hello hello, Reclaimers!

As we are fast approaching “Cottage Season” here in Canada, have you thought about giving your cottage furniture a little refresh?

Today, I’ll be sharing some inspiration with you from a cottage makeover we were honoured to be a part of—just wait until you see the breakfast nook!

We teamed up once again with the incredibly talented Leslie of The Inspiration Nest to paint pieces for her client’s cottage makeover.

The idea for this makeover was to refresh some existing pieces that the client already had in the space to compliment parts of the interior that were recently renovated.

One simple, but extremely effective transformation was painting the base of the glider rocking chair and the wood feet on the sofa—and I mean, HELLO! What an easy way to modernize a old glider rocker!

Noah from the Mango Paint line is the perfect charcoal tone to compliment the dark window & door trim in the space.

But, our absolute favourite refresh is the dining set in the breakfast nook:

The benches, chairs & table base is painted in Noah from the Mango Paint line, while the top is stained using a custom mix of Noah & Charlie from the Mango Paint line.

Seriously…this breakfast nook is what dreams are made of!
