Showroom Associate / Studio Assistant, $14/hr

Part-time - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. 12-4:30pm

Job Description:
A Jack or Jill of all trades, with a background in customer service, a love of design, and a strange addiction to details & organization. Your day at Mango Reclaimed is focused on serving our customers {in store and online}. You’ll love being an expert on our products, including the lines of paint we sell for DIY customers, {training included}! You will gain satisfaction from offering guidance, colour consultations, and problem solving unique requests for our customers every day! You’ll exercise your design skills as you take responsibility for staging our showroom's furniture and products, ensuring inventory is replenished, creating appealing vignettes for our window displays and a welcoming space for customers to meander through. 'Downtime' in the showroom will be spent with a combination of bookkeeping and studio maintenance tasks. We’ll provide you with a supportive, fun work environment, valuable skills and experience, and the opportunity to grow with us.

Skills/Qualifications {non-negotiables}

Previous customer service / retail experience.
A sense of humor, and positive attitude. Our brand is fun, and unique. You will be the first point of contact for most of our customers so we want you to reflect those qualities too.
Social media expertise, either in the business world or your personal experience. If you’ve got a demonstrated aptitude, we can show you the ropes of the business side.
Multi-tasker and initiative taker. You know how to prioritize your time between assisting customers in store & online, data entry, tracking inventory and assisting with studio tasks.
Ability to bench press 200 lbs. Kidding, but you do need to be able to lift 10+ lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, climb ladders & bend and lift furnishings to help customers.
Flexibility and willingness to change as we grow and learn together. Mango Reclaimed is a small, relatively new business but we have big dreams and hope you'll be excited to join in our journey!
