Happy Wednesday friends!
Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on . . .
First up this week is a sweet little cabinet restyled by Lee. Now admittedly this little cabinet was pretty cute to start with, but it really needed some TLC and paint to get her up to her full potential! How adorable is this?
Lee used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk paint to get just the perfect amount of 'chippiness' (or authentically aged patina) on this piece. I love how the paint is so fresh looking with the distressing and chipping giving the perfect amount of character.
Let's take a look at the 'before' below . . . as you can see, it was already cute (well, sort of, lol). The fresh paint job, and replacing the peel and stick vinyl with chicken wire in the doors really made a big difference! This piece went from drab to fab in my books. Nice work Lee!
This next project in honestly ingenious! Kim was the owner of the dark wood glass door cabinet below, which is beautiful, but was too low to the ground on it's own . . .
. . . it needed a base . . . so when Kim found this dresser (below) in our 'ready to restyle' inventory on our website, she bought it. Kim had a vision!
With a great vision for what's possible, some Starry Night van Gogh paint and some fancy new hardware (also bought at Mango Reclaimed), she created a completely new cabinet!
. . . here is Kim's {NEW} cabinet all restyled!
Seriously?! I think it looks fantastic - thank you so much for sharing your project with us Kim!
Lastly today I leave you with this gorgeous little cabinet restyled by Amanda using van Gogh paint in 'Morning Mist' and finished with both natural and french caffeine beeswax. This piece is gorgeous! Want to know what I love even more about it?? This piece was a Habitat for Humanity Restore purchase - fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing your work Amanda . . .and what a beautiful room/rug/piano/flowers/space . . . you get the idea, lol!
As always, thank YOU for sharing your projects with me - I love showing off all your hard work and creativity!
