It's Wednesday and sharing is caring friends!
Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on . . .
First up today is this beautiful and inspiring vanity restyled by the beautiful and inspiring Laurel of Laurel Leaf Photography (if you're not familiar with her work you must take a moment to check out her website here or her Facebook page here). I first met Laurel when she attended a workshop at Mango Reclaimed months ago. The workshop group hit it off so well at my studio that they promptly went home and started their own Facebook group called 'Durham Pickers'! A page dedicated to helping others salvage 'side of the road' finds to be (or not to be) restyled - I absolutely love this! I believe it is a closed group, but if you ask nicely they might let you join them here. Ok, I've babbled enough, let's look at a pretty picture:
Like I said, beautiful and inspiring! Laurel restyled this 'side of the road salvage' for her daughters room using van Gogh paints and some TLC. Thank you so much for sharing Laurel - looking forward to seeing you again soon in the studio!
Oops, and here's the before picture:
Next up is this soft and cheerful cabinet restyle done by Kathy. I love van Gogh's 'empathy' yellow. It's such a beautiful colour! This cabinet was Kathy's first project after attending a van Gogh 101 workshop - I love that she jumped right in and I think she did a fantastic job!
Great work! Thank you for sharing Kathy!
Here's a look at the cabinet 'before':
Last up for today is this very sweet little cabinet recently restyled by Marie using van Gogh's 'Cashmere'. Honestly, cashmere is a 'go to' colour for so many projects. It looks gorgeous on it's own and also compliments practically every other colour out there. It's a soft and creamy colour that makes everything lighter and brighter. Excellent choice Marie!
And here is the dark and dated cabinet before her glorious cashmere restyle:
And as always, thank YOU for sharing your projects with me - I love showing off all your hard work and creativity!
