The conversation usually revolves around a 3 step process:

RECLAIM: There is always a story about where the piece came from (passed down from grandma? found at the side of the road on the way to the cottage? scouring through yard sales . . .)

REFINISH: There is a goal for what will become of the piece (will it be in your daughters room, or moved from the basement up to the main foyer, maybe it will be taken out of storage and become a showpiece in your home to be used and loved on a daily basis).

RESTYLE: Then there's the vision of what you want the piece to look like (will it be bright and cheery, will it be timeless and classic). How will you transform it?
