What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

Holy jumpin it's been hot this week! So this is fall . . . ??

Even though it's smokin hot today - temperatures are looking perfect this weekend for tackling some painting projects!

Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?

First up this week is a beautiful cabinet restyled by Debora using our van Gogh Fossil paint. This cabinet looks great with a 'Starry Night' exterior and 'Cashmere' interior! The soft 'Cashmere' really lightens up the interior of this piece! New hardware finishes off the new look!

Here's a look at Debora's cabinet before, a great piece but a little dark and dated looking for sure:

Great job Debora - thank you for sharing with us! (your discount is waiting, lol)

Next up this week is a bright and beautiful kitchen set shared with us by Janice a little while ago. This set looks so pretty in Fusion Mineral paint in a combination of 'Algonquin' and 'Limestone'! The whole set looks so fresh and inviting!

Here's a peak at Janice's table and chairs 'before' their beautiful restyle:

Thank you so much for sharing this with us Janice - you did a great job!!

Here's a fun project! Last up this week are some restyled wooden walls by Tara. We've had lots of customers finding out just how awesome our Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint is while they tackle home decor and cottage living projects over the summer and this is a great example!

Applying a few varying colours of milk paint with a wash effect over her walls has created a beautiful, and completely on trend, barn board look for her room. Fantastic job Tara - thank you for sharing with us!

And don't forget everyone - if you are featured on our Wednesday blog you we will have a 10% discount waiting for you at the studio (valid for 30 days)! We don't always get to share pictures in the week that they are sent in, but we do hang on to them and try to share as many as we can because we love seeing your projects! It's so easy! All you have to do is e-mail your before and after pictures (or even just after pictures if that's all you have, lol) to: [email protected]

Oh! And just incase you missed it and/or are not sure what you want to work on next, check out our upcoming workshops! (click here)

What'cha workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

What a beautiful day it is today!

Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?!?

First up this week is a sweet hall table restyled by Christine - she used Coal Black from our Fusion paint line and it looks fantastic!

Here's a look at the table before she got started.

Talk about a powerful 'before' and 'after'!

Christine's hall table turned out so great that she went ahead and painted her entire dining set the same colour! Wow - thanks for sharing Christine!

Next up this week are some side tables getting a restyle by Jules. On the left you can see the 'before' and on the right you can see the beautiful 'after'. Jules used Zeppelin grey from our van Gogh paint line to restyle these tables and they are looking beautiful!

Thanks for sharing Jules!

Last up this week but certainly not least is a gorgeous drum table restyled by Colin. We are all familiar with these little drum tables - they were at grandmas house and now you can find them at all the yard sales . . . truth is they are awesome for storage and look great painted out!

Like this one painted in Starry Night from our van Gogh paint line! Nice work Colin - thanks for sharing!

I wonder if you will fill yours with children's toys like I do with most of the furniture at my house, lol??

Thank you so much to everyone for sending in their pictures! Can't wait to see what you do next!

And don't forget - if you are featured on our Wednesday blog you we will have a 10% discount waiting for you at the studio (valid for 30 days)! It's so easy you guys! All you have to do is e-mail your before and after pictures to: [email protected]

Go ahead, send me some pictures right now, lol!

What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Wednesday!!

Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on. . .

First up this week - Jennifer did an awesome job restyling this cabinet she picked up 'as is' from our studio! I'm always a fan of rich blue 'Starry Night' - and this piece is no exception! I love the lines of this piece too - and antique wax makes all the difference in the finish on this nice dark colour! It looks fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing Jennifer!!

Here is what the cabinet looked like 'before':

Actually! This is what the cabinet really looked like 'before', but Jennifer had vision enough to realize that the bottom portion of this hutch on it's own would perfectly fit her space. Fantastic!

Next up this week - Sebastian gave this ottoman a quick update by painting out the base in 'Patina', an ever popular colour from the van Gogh fossil paint line. It looks great with the existing fabric, such a soft beautiful colour! Thanks for sharing Sebastian!!

Here it is 'before' in black:

Last but not least, Helene and Lindsay restyled this kitchen table and gave it a whole new classic look. I love the combination of van Gogh fossil paint in 'Cashmere' and 'Mascara'. No 'before' picture to share on this set, but I love that the Mango Reclaimed bag is still on the table, lol!

Looks great ladies!! Thanks for sharing!

What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on . . .

First up this week is a sweet little cabinet restyled by Lee. Now admittedly this little cabinet was pretty cute to start with, but it really needed some TLC and paint to get her up to her full potential! How adorable is this?

Lee used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk paint to get just the perfect amount of 'chippiness' (or authentically aged patina) on this piece. I love how the paint is so fresh looking with the distressing and chipping giving the perfect amount of character.

Let's take a look at the 'before' below . . . as you can see, it was already cute (well, sort of, lol). The fresh paint job, and replacing the peel and stick vinyl with chicken wire in the doors really made a big difference! This piece went from drab to fab in my books. Nice work Lee!

This next project in honestly ingenious! Kim was the owner of the dark wood glass door cabinet below, which is beautiful, but was too low to the ground on it's own . . .

. . . it needed a base . . . so when Kim found this dresser (below) in our 'ready to restyle' inventory on our website, she bought it. Kim had  a vision!

With a great vision for what's possible, some Starry Night van Gogh paint and some fancy new hardware (also bought at Mango Reclaimed), she created a completely new cabinet!

. . . here is Kim's {NEW} cabinet all restyled!

Seriously?! I think it looks fantastic - thank you so much for sharing your project with us Kim!

Lastly today I leave you with this gorgeous little cabinet restyled by Amanda using van Gogh paint in 'Morning Mist' and finished with both natural and french caffeine beeswax. This piece is gorgeous!  Want to know what I love even more about it?? This piece was a Habitat for Humanity Restore purchase - fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing your work Amanda . . .and what a beautiful room/rug/piano/flowers/space . . . you get the idea, lol!

As always, thank YOU for sharing your projects with me - I love showing off all your hard work and creativity!
