What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday! I love to share your projects! Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?

After stopping by the studio a few weeks ago for some quick pointers, Jenn went home and restyled her fireplace. This looks fantastic! Because this is not a wood burning fireplace it doesn't get extremely hot - this made it a perfect candidate for restyling using van Gogh paint. We recently restyled a customers fire place as well - watch for it on an upcoming blog post :) Great job Jenn!!

After a workshop at Mango Reclaimed, Teresa restyled this cute chair and side table using van Gogh paint in 'Balsamic' and 'Cashmere'. Looks great - thanks for sharing Teresa!

No stranger to restyling, Lisa has done a fantastic job on this rocking chair. Sometimes all you need is a little paint and some TLC to give your furniture a whole new look. Gorgeous work Lisa!

Nicole's first project was this entryway table restyle. I think this table will add a welcoming pop of colour to her front entrance, and I just love a little console table with a kick of character. Nice work Nicole!

As always, thank YOU for sharing your projects with me - I love showing off all your hard work and creativity!

If you have restyled something in your home using products from Mango Reclaimed and want to be featured on What'cha workin' on Wednesday?!?, please e-mail your before and after pictures to [email protected]. Looking forward to hearing from you!

1 Rocking chair, many looks.

Hi there! I hope you had a rocking good long weekend! (sorry, that was cheesy I know. . .)

Check out this fantastic bentwood rocking chair restyled using van Gogh's 'calm seas'.

And now check out how many different looks you can get just by switching up the pillows. . . .

A few details to swoon over.

Such a versatile chair would look adorable in a nursery or a child's bedroom of course, but don't discount the luxury of a comfortable and stylish rocking chair on the sun porch!

Happy Tuesday!

A hutch, a rocking chair and a shelf . . .

Hi there! I hope you're enjoying your week.  I have had a great time working at the studio pulling things together, working on some custom orders, and also working on some pieces for the Mango Reclaimed showroom.

I wanted to share with you a few recently completed pieces that will be available for purchase once we open.  Yes I realize this is a random selection of furniture but aren't we all a little bit random sometimes?

This hutch was chalk painted using van Gogh paint in the colours 'chivalry' and 'chalk'. It was lightly distressed and then sealed with van Gogh 'french caffeine' beeswax. I love how it turned out!  (Soon to be available for sale from Mango Reclaimed, $575)

Please disregard the background - this hutch would look much better in a dining room, kitchen or hallway / foyer!

And finally a great shallow shelf chalk painted in 'patina' and 'muse'. This piece was distressed and then sealed using Miss Mustard Seed's hemp oil. A shelf great for knick knacks, small toys . . . (Soon to be available for sale from Mango Reclaimed, $55)

Inspired by the beauty of a grassy field and a blue sky - this shelf would look great in any home.
