What'cha Workin' on Wednesdsay?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

I am still trying to get over how amazing Saturday was . . . thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand re-opening of our studio!!

Incase you missed it - heres a sneak peak at how the celebration looked . . . I will for sure post more photos soon! That's me there in the dress in the middle - I gave out so many hugs that day! #freehugs

Oh!! And if you put tickets in the raffle prizes - stay tuned to Facebook later today! We will be doing a live video to draw the winners for all 9 prizes!!

Ok - enough about us! Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?!?

First up this week Laura did a quick and classy restyle on these chairs using Fusion Mineral Paint in 'Coal Black'. These chairs were the perfect project for Fusion - quick prep, paint and done! Because the seats were staying natural there is no need for additional protection - the paint is durable enough on its own!

And they look great!

Here's a look at Laura's thrift store chairs 'before':

Thanks for sharing Laura! (your discount is waiting!)

Next up to share this week - Leslie picked up these chairs from our studio 'as is' recently and promptly nick named them the 'cosby sweater chairs', lol! I can see why looking at the fabric on the 'before' chair on the left.

Some vision, some white paint and some new fabric and these chairs look great (well at least one of them does, lol! I'm sure the other one will be done soon - if not already)!

Thanks so much for sharing Leslie! (your discount is waiting!)

Next up this week - Sherisse came into our studio looking for a very specific colour to restyle her kitchen set and was happy to find 'Confidence' - a beautiful blue from our van Gogh paint line. Can you believe this was her first ever furniture restyling project?!?

Looks fantastic Sherisse - thank you for sharing! (your discount is waiting!)

Oh my goodness! I can't believe I almost forgot this one! Laura (who painted the chairs coal black above), also painted this gorgeous kitchen set! The table base and chairs were restyled using 'Cashmere' from our van Gogh paint line. The table top was finished with antique beeswax!

This set now looks fantastic Laura - thanks for sharing, again, lol!

What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday!

We are working our little tails off a the studio right now - so many exciting projects coming together because I am super mega excited for our grand re-opening celebration coming up on May 6th! There is nothing like a deadline to kick my internal pinterest dreams into high gear reality!

I hope you can stop into the studio on the 6th to celebrate with us - we have lots of ways we plan on showing you just how much we appreciate you!

For now though - let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?!?

This week were showcasing the painting skills of two awesome photographers that we are so lucky to have as customers!

First up this week with a major colour pop is a bedroom restyled by Laurel of Laurel Leaf Photography. Laurel has a big beautiful personality and originally had a softer vision for her daughter Cielle's room - but Cielle had colour ideas of her own . . . what an amazing mom to just go for it! I mean, how crazy good does this room look?

Wowzers!! The desk was restyled using 'Revenge' and the bed was restyled using 'Confidence' from our van Gogh paint line. Amazing Laurel - thanks so much for sharing with us!

Next up this week is an adorable cabinet restyled by Andrea of Trio Photography. Andrea wrote a great blog post about how she restyled this cabinet to store a collection of vintage items, especially a collection of salt and pepper shakers passed down from her grandfather - don't you just love that?? If you want to read her post and see more pictures of this great cabinet, you can check it out here

This cutie cabinet was restyled with 'chalk' from our van Gogh paint line . . . and some serious modge podge! Love it! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us Andrea!

Oh, while were gushing, let's remember that Andrea is no stranger to modge podge restyling projects - you might remember her Calvin and Hobbes inspired dresser with 'And Your Little Dog Too' van Gogh paint from a while back . . .

So awesome!

Thank you so much to everyone for sending in their pictures! Can't wait to see what you do next!

And don't forget - if you are featured on our Wednesday blog you we will have a 10% discount waiting for you at the studio (valid for 30 days)! It's so easy you guys! All you have to do is e-mail your before and after pictures to: [email protected]

Oh! And wait just a second! Incase you haven't seen this yet:

We. Can't. Wait!

What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

First up this week are some seriously adorable nesting tables!

These nesting tables were restyled by Melanie - great name btw, lol! Melanie used van Gogh Fossil paint in Chalk white and then these tables were distressed to add some character - the finished product is fantastic!

Here's a glimpse at the tables 'before', you know, just kinda ho hum . . .

Great job Melanie - thank you for sharing! Your'e discount is waiting :)

Now here's a cute and quick way to update your front entrance. Add some colour to your coat rack! Emily restyled this piece using van Gogh Fossil paint in bright blue Confidence.

It looks great - thanks for sharing Emily!

Next up is a very sweet restyle by Debbie! An adorable change table that would look sweet in any nursery! Debbie used Miss Mustard Seed's Milk paint in Linen, a soft warm white.

Here is a look at this piece before - Debbie cleverly removed the dresser drawers and replaced them with shelves for easy access to baskets and baby items.

Great job Debbie - thanks for sharing!

This last project was a bit of a labour of love as Scott tried various methods to get just the perfect amount of chippy goodness using Miss Mustard Seed's Milk paint on the skirt and legs of his table. I think it was definitely worth the work though! This table looks fantastic as does the whole room - I am a major sucker for a gallery wall, and this one looks amazing!!

Great job on this Scott - thanks so much for sharing!

And don't forget - if you are featured on our Wednesday blog you we will have a 10% discount waiting for you at the studio (valid for 30 days)! It's so easy you guys! All you have to do is e-mail your before and after pictures to: [email protected]
