What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Hi there! Happy Wednesday friends!

Do you love to DIY? Are you looking for a fun way to spend some time with your gf's?? Have you heard about our 'Holiday Maker's Day' yet?!? This is going to be one amazing, super fun, creativity filled day! We will provide everything you need to custom create all 4 of these awesome holiday decor items (these make great gifts too!) The best part is that you can customize all of these using whatever colours you like as we have our entire line of Miss Mustard Seed's Milk paint and Fusion Mineral paint available for you to play with!

Didi I mention we will also be providing lunch and extra goodies, lol?? Go ahead and click here to see what it's all about (space is limited)!

Ok, now that you've registered to join our Holiday Maker's Day - let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on, shall we?!?

First up this week is a darling little dresser restyled by Kim. I love this look when a piece has nice straight lines like this! We often leave drawer fronts in the natural wood and paint out the framework (where most of the wear and tear usually is). Kim did a beautiful job on this using our Fusion Mineral paint in Coal Black. The drawer fronts were sanded down and sealed with a natural beeswax finish to protect!

Beautiful job Kim! Let's take a look at this dresser 'before':

As you can see the finish on the top was quite worn, and even the drawer fronts needed some attention. Great job Kim - thank you for sharing with us!

Next up this week is a sweet and soft restyled cabinet done by Sonya. This hutch looks so beautiful in new lighter colours! And I ADORE the wallpapered back on this, don't you?!

Sonya did a fantastic job on this cabinet using our van Gogh Fossil paint in a nice soft 'chalk' white! A bit of distressing and both natural and an antique wax really accent the details! Beautiful job Sonya!

I'm sure you can already picture it, lol, but let's take a look at Sonya's cabinet 'before':

Last up this week is a gorgeous restyled secretary cabinet! Alison used our Fusion Mineral paint in 'Limestone' on the exterior of this piece and used our van Gogh Fossil paint in 'Patina' on the inside. The two colours look beautiful together and this secretary has never looked better! So pretty Alison - thank you for sharing with us!

What'cha Workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

Wow - we have some beauties to share this week! And there seems to be a theme happening, lol. All of our shares this week include restyled pieces where our clever customers have painted out some of their piece and preserved the wood finish of other parts. Always a beautiful combination! Take a look and tell us what you think!

First up this week is a beautiful desk restyled by Vicki! The base of this desk looks black in the picture but is actually a really dark and rich blue called Artissimo from our Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint line. The top of this desk was sanded to the raw wood and then Vicki applied MMS Hemp Oil as a natural and stunning protective finish! Love how this turned out!!

What a beautiful job you did Vicki - thank you so much for sharing with us! LOVE the new 'cup pull' hardware too - nice finishing touch!

Next up this week is a bedroom set restyled by Jennifer. This set was gifted to Jennifer from her Grandfather and was her first attempt at restyling - I think she did a great job!

Jennifer used our Fusion Mineral paint in 'Champlain' to restyle the bases of her set and left the dresser and table tops just how they were. Take a look:

Here's a look at Jennifer's bedroom set 'before', it looks so much lighter and brighter now that it's been restyled!

Thanks for sharing Jennifer!

Next up this week is a stunning cabinet restyled by Jane!  I mean - wow, take a look!

This was a beautiful cabinet to begin with, but now that it's been restyled it has been taken to a whole new level! I LOVE how Jane chose to paint some areas using Fusion Mineral paint in 'Coal Black' and also chose to stain some areas with our Stain and Finishing Oil in 'Ebony'. Such a beautiful combination! Great job Jane - thank you so much for sharing your work with us (again, lol)!!

What'cha workin' on Wednesday?!?

Happy Wednesday friends!

Let's take a look at what'cha been workin' on shall we?!?

First up this week is a beautiful restyle by Helene. Just look at this pretty cabinet! Helene restyled this cabinet using van Gogh Fossil paint in Pyjama Weather (a soft warm grey) on the exterior and Cashmere (a soft creamy neutral) on the interior. . . and it looks great!

Just beautiful! I love how the inside is lighter to really showcase the glass doors and the original hardware looks perfect!

Let's take a look at this cabinet 'before':

Great bones, but dark and dated! Helene picked up this cabinet from our studio 'as is' and did a great job giving it a new look! Want one like this?!? We have one more available in the studio now :)

Thanks for sharing Helene! Great job!

Next up this week is a restyled duo by Julianne. A sweet child's rocker and book holder were given a great new look with van Gogh Fossil paint in 'Stormy Skies' and 'Chalk'. How adorable is this little set?!

Let's take a look at what these two looked like 'before':

Oh my! These are all too familiar, lol! Who doesn't have something like these lying around in the basement, or cottage that could look so much better with some paint???

Thank you for sharing your projects and for the inspiration Julianne - your discount is waiting :)

Last up this week, but definitely not least is a gorgeous cabinet restyle by Jane. Using Fusion Mineral paint in 'Coal Black' and van Gogh Fossil paint in 'Serenity', Jane gave this cabinet a whole new lease on life!

So classy looking!

Let's take a look at this cabinet 'before':
